Pantera is dedicated to providing our customers with the utmost in service excellence and productivity at fair pricing. It has been our experience that building a successful reputation in the service industry involves a commitment to excellence and productivity. Our qualified team works towards providing high technical standards that our clients have always expected from us. Our staff has also maintained an avid interest in the preservation and enhancement of environmental issues and concerns, and they are willing to provide the resources necessary to protect our environment.
Pantera's maintenance programs emphasize safety and rig reliability. Pantera employs a full time Safety Manager who reports directly to the Vice President, Operations and has direct access to the President. The President and CEO of Pantera is the CAODC director designated to be responsible for the Health, Safety and Environment Committee, and the Safety Manager of Pantera is an active member of this committee.
High utilization rates and reliable equipment promote a safe work environment and crew stability at the rig. Pantera has held its Certificate of Recognition ("COR") for the past three years and is committed to this program. Alberta Human Resources and Employment developed the COR Occupational Health and Safety Program by way of a partnership that provides a method for drilling companies to develop and improve their health and safety programs through both internal and external audits.
In April 2005, Pantera won the CAODC Safety Leadership Award for achieving a top quartile safety performance record for the year 2004 among the 43 drilling contractor members of the CAODC, and was also awarded the CAODC Chairman of the Board's Shield for having the most improved safety record of any of the member companies.
Pantera regularly conducts on-site safety and training meetings to ensure that all personnel are informed about and continue to satisfy or exceed all applicable regulatory and safety requirements. Pantera's operating practices comply with the provincial standards for oilfield waste management. These standards are communicated to personnel so that they can be understood and adhered to at all times.
