Pantera Drilling Income Trust provides contract drilling services to oil and gas exploration and production companies operating in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Pantera is committed to providing a safe and reliable fleet of drilling rigs to its clients. Pantera currently operates a fleet of eight drilling rigs, consisting of one coil drilling rig, one telescopic single drilling rig, and six stepdown telescopic double drilling rigs. The composition of Pantera's drilling rig fleet allows it to participate in two distinct market segments. Pantera's coil rig (Rig No. 2) is used for natural gas and coal bed methane drilling in the southern plains of Alberta and Saskatchewan, and Pantera's larger, conventional rigs (Rigs No. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9) are used to drill deeper oil and gas targets in the foothills and Peace River Arch areas and heavy oil targets in the Peace River and Cold Lake areas of northern Alberta.
